A. Open the Crackle app and start playing a video. Tap on the screen to bring up the playback controls. Look for the 'CC' or 'Subtitles' icon and tap it to turn off subtitles. This setting should remain until you change it again.

B. Go to the app settings by tapping on your profile icon. Look for 'Playback' settings and find the option for subtitles. Set it to 'Off' to prevent subtitles from appearing by default.
