A. To manage automatic feed refreshing, try turning off background app refresh for Pinterest. Go to your device's 'Settings', select 'Apps', find Pinterest, and disable 'Background data'.

B. If you want to stop the feed from refreshing while you are browsing, you can scroll to the top of the feed and pull down to refresh manually when you are ready.
