A. Ensure your device has enough storage space. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and delete unnecessary apps or files to free up space.

B. Try restarting the app. Close The Spike completely by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or double-tapping the home button) and then relaunch the app.
