A. 1. Close other apps running in the background to conserve battery life. Double-click the home button (or swipe up) and swipe up on apps to close them. 2. Lower the screen brightness while using the app to save battery. You can do this in Settings > Display & Brightness.

B. 3. Enable Low Power Mode in Settings > Battery to extend battery life while using the app.
