A. Check the in-game settings for sound options. Many games have their own sound controls separate from the device settings. Look for a sound or music toggle and turn it off.

B. If there are no in-game options, try restarting the app after setting your phone to silent. Sometimes, apps do not recognize the silent mode until they are restarted.
